in my case i had to accept that he wasn't my best friend anymore, we changed, both of us. I couldn't do anything. What i did do about it? I let it happen, tried to minmize the damage. If it's not supposed to be u shouldn't force it.
Things take a weired way to go, it hurts and it let u grow up - if u want to or not. I don't want to.

To be honest i would consider this article as rubbish... w/e
