Long time, no rambling
My life has become a little whirlwind lately, and the tired I’m feeling is a different kind of tired to how I felt when working night shift. So, the new job - working in insurance. I've never had a 'real' job before - where you dress up nicely (corporate), commute to the city, and work regular hours. It's a stark contrast to the rotating roster of evenings and nights, dressed in a practical unisex polo shirt.

She's coming back to daylight hours
I've got a new job, working 9-5, in the city. You cannot imagine the extent of my relief to have no more night shifts after the end of this month. More details to come when I actually have time to sit down and write it all out.

Sleep-baking
Fred's been sleep talking a little lately. Mostly things of non-consequence, however Saturday night was so weird that I wasn't sure if I'd dreamt it. "How much flour in 10 ounces?" more hoop talk
Each outer side of my shoulder blades is covered in bruises - delicious results of hard work and finally being able to conquer yet another hoop trick. I can keep the hoop up around my chest! I want to practice more and more just to prove to myself that I can still do it, though first I really need to let the bruises start to heal. It hurts to lie ( Read more... )
