I think I'd miss the internet - we've become so reliant on 'instant knowledge' and local libraries really don't have the same number of reference books they used to.

I admit that I have a great collection of dictionaries and encyclopedias, and I rarely open them now - the internets is so easy.

3. Every time the internet or cable go out I finish a project or a book. We need to take a television, wi-fi free vacation to cut me off from all the news shows and sites I'm addicted to. I'd be mentally and emotionally better for it and the mister wouldn't have to listen to my rants :D

If there was no internet, I'd also spend the month reading. In fact I'd probably go through all my Dorothy Dunnetts - I could just about do that in a month if I had no other distractions. :)

A bit too soon for me, but I did indeed read my way through a lot of books, just not having television.
