Hello Friday. It's mid-August already and it was dark when I first woke up this morning, so I pretended it wasn't 5am and went back to sleep for an hour until daylight arrived properly. It was dark when I went to bed last night, too. Sorry for the downer, but I see autumn on the horizon.

Growing up, though, and married to my ex-SO, i had to deal with my dad and my ex who would both putter around, doing last minute 'important' things, while the rest of us waited on them. I did a lot of reading pre-church in my kid days, while dad poked at something in the workshop. Ah, well!

And made my mom so exasperated. I find that my sis and i are pretty much never late, but my two brothers...tend to be, heh.

Early, definitely! I strive to be early although there are times I take pains to be exactly on time as I know I will be interrupting something if I'm a few minutes early. But I hate being late. If circumstances make me late to an event I have an intense desire to just not go at all.

It has really, hasn't it? So strange. I suspect in the future it will be dubbed 'The year that didn't happen'.
