There is more snow this morning. Nothing that would count for some of my continental and North American flist, but we really don't get much snow each winter. Sometimes none at all and usually only one or two light falls

We have quite a bit of snow - it stopped our dustbin pick up yesterday which was surprising - they usually make it OK. Apparently the lack of traffic means the gritting the council has done is not very efficient as it really needs cars to spread the grit on roads. Who knew?
I'm really glad we've not had your four inches here. I think it's also about the car tyres heating the snow a bit so it melts a little and the salt in the grit has a chance to dissolve.
It's been very dry snow here - like you, some streets are clear because blown away, including the opposite pavement in my road. But not my side, annoyingly. I think it's melted again for now, but there are days for it to return, alas. I feel a bit snowbound despite the lack of depth to it!
