Oh - I didn’t think if brands of big stuff! There are brands of car I wouldn’t consider.

Good examples for the historic stuff. I completely left out space and landing on the moon. I can’t believe I forgot that!

There are so many things that happen in a life time; it's impossible to choose one 'most' significant thing. It's impossible to think of all the important events.

II honestly don't know which of the things that have happened in my life time will turn out to be the most historically important. The Cuban Missiles Crisis happened in my life time too, of course, and it must have seemed very important to my parents at the time, with 2 young children, but I didn't notice it at all, and now it doesn't seem all that significant...

I think perhaps the internet is the thing that has changed lives more than anything else.

Yes, I think the internet... and mapping the human genome, are the things that have and will prove most significant.

... Although... The Cuban Missiles Crisis could have resulted in none of us being here at all, if it had gone the other way *g* So pleased it didn't.

I think a bit more time needs to pass before I'll know what the most significant event in my lifetime is. I suspect the attack on the Capitol may rank up there before all is said and done.

There are a couple local companies I'm pretty loyal to. HEB, our local grocery chain does amazing things when disaster strikes here in Texas. ABC Home and Commercial Services is our first call for pest control, plumbing, handyman stuff. Pretty much it's our first call when something goes wrong.

I could do with finding a general handyman sort of service. Just for the stuff I can't reach myself.
