April meme, days to 15 to 19

It is the most glorious, sunny morning out there and the forecast is for temperatures up to 15 degrees, so a good day to be out and about. I am told that the north pier (as seen in this gif) is now open, so I think my walk may take me in that direction.

In the meantime, I have some catching-up to do.

It’s supposed to be 16C here today - very Spring like once the chilly morning has gone :)

Google maps are very good aren’t they. I rather like idly spending time looking at Google Earth too. The photos are amazing.

A walk out a pier sounds like a good idea... I might do the same thing.

S2C and I went to a Nandos about 12 or more years ago; we hadn't heard of them so had no particular bias for or against, and actually we had a nice meal :)

I have no idea what Nandos does. I only mentioned it because Kazzy did. I do quite fancy trying KFC one day, though, just because my colleague waxed so lyrical about it *g* (the 'better alternatives' that got in the way in the past were always pubs *g*)

The best thing about KFC is the coating on their chicken - otherwise they are quite mediocre. Their cookies are also divine!

I can't claim to be ignorant of MacDonalds - 6pm on a Sunday in Oxford after a long day driving and nowhere else was open *g*
