I can't imagine getting into the shower and just turning the water on. Who wants to stand in a frigid blast? Maybe if you have a tankless water heater....

Me neither *shivers* I have a tankless boiler (as I think most people in the UK do) but it's in the utility room and the hot water still takes a few moments to reach the showerhead *g*
