It must be nice to still write letters. I have so many notelet’s and pretty stationery paper (too small for a printer) that will probably end up getting recycled.

It is really nice getting a letter occasionally.

Oh, don't do that. Someone will want them, if you offer them on the freecycle site, or a facebook 'pass it on' group.

I think I must have been 18 going to university when I first travelled alone too.

I did, once, go on a 2 week holiday with friends to a single hotel in what is now Croatia!

We keep the thermostat at 18C most of the time, but do put it up a bit in the middle of winter or the rest of the house feels too cold.

I had a very emergency Caesarian in Rake Lane, that is my only surgery.

We moved a bit between my birth and my 7th birthday - then stayed.

Edge at the moment, although I might go back to Firefox. I found it easier to organise my favourites in Edge.

No idea - I was 4 and all I remember is not being given a go on the rocking horse!

I think a letter to my mother-in-law a couple of months ago.

The phrasing was a bit ambiguous, but I took it to mean a proper journey. I would say that even with friends, a holiday in Croatia counts *g*

Every four year old should be allowed to ride the rocking horse!

As my family moved a lot my longest hotel stay would be a month and a half when we were waiting on a house. It's a very strange thing to be going to school while living in a motel. I think we moved 12 times by the time I graduated high school.

I didn't have anything medical happen to me until I hit 40 then the warranty must have run out because I started falling apart. I had surgery on my neck, then carpal tunnel surgery and most recently a surgery to get a lump removed from my breast.

I can imagine it was strange. Even we didn't move that often and we were a forces family.

Oh, you poor thing. That's a lot of surgery. *hugs you*
