It was overcast and a little rainy over the weekend, with a sea fret hovering along the beach, but today we've got a return to glorious sunshine, I think. The forecast for today is certainly beautiful.

I am not sure where the last week went, but I suddenly realised how many days had passed. So...

I'm not sure I'd want to be a historian, though. The attrition rate's a bit high. But a chance to blow stuff up regularly *g*

You're a brave woman. I think St Mary's would fray my nerves beyond breaking after maybe a week. Apart from them being really sound on tea.

It would have to be early St Mary's - I think I'd enjoy the crazy, although I might need to retreat to the village pub to chat with Joe fairly regularly.

We keep carpet for our pets when they get older. Geriatric dogs have difficulty on wood or tile floors so we keep carpet so they can get traction. Yes, we're those kind of people.

That makes sense. Although I remember our geriatric cat used to get his claws caught in the carpet and couldn't get himself free. Unfortunate, especially when he was trying to get to his litter tray *g*
