October meme, Days 1 to 5

There is a definite feeling of autumn in the air now. The leaves on the trees are beginning to show a tinge of brown, sunrise is later and sunset earlier, it's approaching the 'tentacles in and curl up in a ball' time of year. I pulled my winter jacket out of the cupboard to go for my walk to the beach yesterday. And once again I have meme

I have every intention of sorting through old photos but I’ve only got as far as getting the boxes in one place lol!!

Our weather is that point of autumn where I feel it is time for the heavy duvet*, we have had the heating on a couple of evenings, and we get grey, wet, windy days - intersperse with bright crisp sunshine. The sort of weather where it is difficult t decide what o wear as within minutes the same clothes go from being a bit too hot, to not really warm enough!

*S2C doesn't agree - so I went to bed the other night in a pair of old leggings and socks!

I've not had the heating on yet, but there have been a couple of evenings when it came close. Yes, I'm afraid it is autumn.

I've mostly finished sorting my letters into date order, and now I'm not sure whether I should have left them sorted by sender ...

Ah, yes, a dilemma. I will learn from your example, I think, and keep them sorted by sender, and then date. Thank you.

I did that because I was using them as a kind of reminder for what I was doing in particular years - before I started writing a diary.
