It’s suddenly winter here with thick frost.

I find I get frustrated with socks sometimes as they shrink! A well fitting sock is such a pleasure but not when it doesn’t fit after one (low temperature) wash. I like bamboo socks as they tend not to do that.

In my experience, bamboo socks tend to stretch, rather than shrink, unfortunately.

Aww, I hope you feel better soon. I've had my booster, and just like with the first jab, I have a golf-ball sized lump on my arm and have been feeling 'under the weather' since I had it. Da Boss is having her booster on Wednesday but we need to get Teenager booked in for hers. Just found out that my brother, his wife and my nephew caught Covid, although my niece already had it earlier in the school term. Not sure where they caught it but he works on an ambulance so possibly there? This whole thing is just so scary - never-ending and people don't seem to be learning from mistakes of the past.

Thank you, just a mild headache now although I felt stiff and couldn't get warm, earlier. I do hope you recover quickly, now.

Yeah, I do hate winter *shrugs*
I am reminding myself that we are nearly at mid-point and after that the days start lengthening again.

*g* I have so many pairs of socks I don't wear, but socks are not really a thing you can give to a charity shop.

I'm so sorry you've been under the weather. I agree with you about the need to distribute vaccine to countries that can't afford it. I suspect it's more complicated than loading up a plane with vaccine and delivering it but still it must be done.

Got my booster today so I'm feeling slightly invincible. I'm watching two of my nieces graduate college tomorrow. I feel so very old.
