I'm glad I withdrew from the Star Wars fandom (and from all fandoms, really) this year, since it allowed me to approach "The Last Jedi" with a mostly open mind and very few pet theories. And for the most part, I really liked it.

Hey. Yeah, I gave up on Tumblr. The repetitiveness of posts, the call-out culture, and the lack of meaningful conversations was making me bitter. I don't even miss it, though I wonder about the people sometimes. It's nice to hear from you.

I am working on a story. It was going to be about Luke, and he still plays a prominent role, but it's really about Leia now. She's banging Poe, so I don't know how many people will actually read it, but I'm pretty much writing it for myself. I like it so far, but I don't know how to end it. :\

Anyway, I loved Iceland. I want to go back, maybe in a year or two. And maybe not in the winter, since I'd like to rent a car and drive around, and I'm a nervous driver in the snow.
