There are no words for how much I'm loving the Metallicar. It's so... everything's just so...simple, when it's viewed through the eyes (headlights?) of the Metallicar. Things are broken, but then it gets fixed. Doesn't matter how it got fixed, only that it did. The car strips away all the nonessentials, like wrong and incest and brothers don't and Dad and Jess, and it's just the sam and dean parts, finally, finally fitting together and running in what surely must be the factory approved manner.

*sighs* You and the Metallicar OWN me. The wonderings about fuel consumption and the idling, and the car's version of sex are exquisite... and you know what? This line also OWNS me. Time is irrelevant, really - only mileage counts. Because... oh God, so true.

I really like that too - how everything is necessarily stripped away because the of the car's innocence/naivety, and it just assumes that it's the way it's supposed to be. Y'know, like a little kid that's totally cool with two guys kissing because the kid hasn't been brainwashed into thinking it's weird.

Heee, factory approved. :)

Thanks so much for following this ficverse - I'm really happy you like it. :)

Y'know, like a little kid that's totally cool with two guys kissing because the kid hasn't been brainwashed into thinking it's weird. Exactly. And that's just exquisitely perfect, y'know? Just perfect.

Yeah... factory approved. *grins* Y'know, if the factory consists of a bunch of overzealous, Wincest lovin' fangirls.

Hey, I'm happy you're writing it. So... he's lucky, she's lucky, we're all lucky! *winces* Sorry. Random Rocky Horror quotes will occasionally make their way into my life. *shrugs* What can you do?

Oh! And I meant to ask you earlier, but apparently it got lost in the murky horror movie set that is my mind *sidesteps sparking wire*... Would you mind if I friended you?

The snoring = idling part made me smile... the whole thing is just wonderfully unusual and smart and good.

Hehehe, thanks. :) I was trying to imagine what a car would consider sleeping to be like, and then I heard my dad three rooms over and it came to me, LOL. :)

Thanks. ♥

I've been eagerly waiting for another part of this story^_^ It's a lot of fun reading and trying to understand what the car is seeing/sensing and how it relates everything to machinery and mechanical parts. Half the fun is in its metaphors.

I hope you'll write more in this story's world.

Yay for eagerly waiting. &smishes;

I'm a big car freak, LOL, and so when I talk about parts or pieces or when I use metaphors, I really mean it. I'm glad you're paying attention. :)

I want to write more in the world, too. :)

I don't know anything about cars or how to fix them so your metaphors are sharper in my mind because of that.

I love this story. I've recced both parts on my LJ^_^
