Not too much around here. I realize that I am Facebook ignorant, but I've been getting "confirmed as friend" messages from people I never wanted to friend! Is my account randomly sending out invites to people I have in common with friends? I don't really want to read updates on these people. There's a way you can set facebook so friend requests have to be confirmed by you. If it's not set, you get auto-friended. If it is set, you can refuse friending. :)

Check your FB account settings and make sure each setting matches what you want.

As for feed you don't want to see, if you go to the upper right corner of each "post", a hidden "x" will appear. Click on that and it will give you the option to "hide this post", "hide all posts from (this person)", or "block this application". That way, you only read the posts you are most interested in. Like mine. (Big Obnoxious Grin!)
