I finished the novel. I mean really finished.  I did all the editing I could, (42 hours) and gave it to my beta readers.  They all came back with comments, and I edited and re-edited based off those critiques, (another 73 hours).  The book is as done and polished and clean as I can possibly make it.

1.) Finish working on the novel -  this is progressing.  I had to go back for a MAJOR rewrite after my writer's group told me the same thing my MIL and Lucia did, (And that deep down, I knew, but had been hesitant to fix, knowing the amount of work involved.)  But the rewrite is about a fifth of the way done I think.  And I think it'll be a better ( Read more... )

So I spent a lot of time the last nine months trying to decide if I'd go back to SCA heavy fighting, and what my approach to it would be if I did.  I had a moment of debate hit me hard because my last fighting episode was at War of the Wings and it was a bad one.  I was enjoying the fighting, until the first field battle. So I need to make a baby registry.

It occurs to me, that I have no idea what goes in a registry, and that I'd better sort through all the stuff I've been receiving so far to have an idea of what to put on it.

Things I know I DO have:
Crib
Carseat  
Breast Pump ( I hate those two words together though I'm grateful for the device.)
some cloth diaper covers
