It’s not yet been a full 24-hours so I’m not sure I should go swimming in Bones speculation and analysis yet, but I can’t resist. While chatting with friends on Twitter this morning I realized once again that I love Bones because it’s a thinking person’s show when it’s at its best. I was then quickly slapped with the thought that because of this

I really can't wait for more! For my personal mental list, tho I have a unique sensibility, I LOVED the ep and for me it's in my top ten.. For some reason that I can't really place, I'm ok w/waiting to see how it's all going to unfold next week. I'm totally at peace w/it all.. it's weird. Usually I'm worried & rushing, but not so much this time. The thing that really put it up there for me was how tightly put together the ep was and the highlight of the dynamic of the show. I think Booth & Sweets were slightly used as foils for each other, b/c Booth had nothing but trust that Bren would show up, which Sweets doubted her. It shows just how back in touch the Bs are w/each other now. The Hodgins & Booth moments & the Angela & Booth moments were just GREAT. And, Bren proving to Booth that he wasn't to blame, that she didn't blame him for VNM's death immediately after it happened to try to save him & keep him from going there in his own mind was just a beautiful touch. It's a carryover from the last sniper ep, i think, b/c she always tells

I adored this episode. It's for sure in my top 3. Did they or didn't they is more fun than will they or won't they. I'm not sure I really agree with the paradigm shift though. While it feels like there has been a change, Brennan told Angela that she thought she went to Booth's bed b/c of Vincent's death and that leaves room for much back-pedaling of the "it was all grief driven and now we need to get back to ourselves" variety. I still loved it, but I'm not convinced it heralds a new era in the B/B relationship
