Sometimes
On the radio this morning they said it was about a 20% chance that it would rain today. Outside, right now, there is thunder and lightning and things are getting very wet.
I don't know why but it's making me philosophical. Sometimes 20% is a bad bet. Sometimes it's all you need. -
The War Comes a Little Closer
A younger cousin of mine named Tait Boucher is going to Iraq tomorrow. He's serving in the Army as an MP; I don't know how long his tour is going to be but it's his first tour of duty after basic and he'll be driving around in humvees and stuff. Please send any spare thoughts and prayers his way. -
