Locke is currently in his room, leaning over the sink and cursing fluently, dripping blood into the sink from where he just set his nose straight. Ow, that hurts. He's still vaguely amused though, even through the pain kind of sucks a little bit. He eyes his reflection in the mirror, pinching the bridge of his nose.

"I broke my nose. Isn't it obvious?" With the slightly pained twang of broken nosedness to his voice, not moving from the sink. "I'm trying not to bleed on the carpet."

Valen knocks once lightly before walking straight in, and he looks shocked at the state of Locke's nose. "Are you all right? What's happened now?" He moves forward quickly to take a closer look and check that Locke is all right.

He seems mostly all right otherwise, maybe just a bit bruised, and definitely still damp from getting thrown in the lake. He winces, a bit, and tries to straighten.

"Broke my nose. Well, I didn't, someone else did for me, but."

Phedre is going to walk by, not realizing whose room it is she's walking by, pause, and start off again.

But there's a window of opportunity for Locke to see her and stop her.

He does but - doesn't really want to say hello. Because he's still uncomfortably aware of her thoughts, not to mention the bruise around his neck, not to mention the broken nose.

She's not usually this awkward, but she's distracted and uncomfortable, and she actually trips in the corridor, right in plain view, letting out a small yelp that's, of course, almost a whimper, considering her nature.

He's at the doorway looking actually concerned and then regrets it when he realizes that she seems to be all right. Keeping his mouth closed, he almost tries to retreat before she vanishes, then realizes that the sudden movement took his nose out of place again.

With a loud, "Godsfucking hell!" He jerks it straight again with a rather awful noise.
