For my teacher friends...

So... I was wondering how tempting it might be to staple Mc Donalds applications to failed math tests?

That would have motivated me.

EDIT: I'm not saying this is a *good* idea, I just wonder how TEMPTING it is.
Also, I was thinking College level.

But I think it depends on what grade you are thinking of.
A 4th grader may think that is cool

If the student is a total slacker and has a sense of humor... and if its the teachers style.. then sure
but then again what do I know?

Why not to failed spelling tests?

(That is not a flippant response. If you read it and thought either "Good question. Maybe we should staple one to both kinds of test," or "Good question. Maybe it's not a good idea for either," then you probably understand why I asked.)

but for high school students it may be too close to reality to be allowed.
Middle school maybe. I like it. You can use Arbys or whatevers handy

I am willing to bet that the teacher would be at least severely disciplined....the school sued and maybe firing the teacher.

Oh, I am sure you are right. Which does not mean it isn't still a good idea.

In my opinion: Not even close.

I don't see anything actionable there.

If I did, and if the kid showed the parents, and if the kid's parents complained, I might get a note in my personnel file and be told to apologize.
