The lawn was becoming overgrown, so Misti and I ventured out to Lowes to get a lawnmower and edge trimmer last night. Wedding planning is beginning to take up much of our time. Misti's compiling her guest list, and we'll finally be able to send our invitations by mid-April. Hopefully, we'll have the pre-wedding counseling done by then too, so that we can send all the paperwork to the Diocese for approval. This last week, the bank green-lighted the mortgage for our new place in Hillsboro. Hopefully, we'll close on the home by Christmas. It has 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, and 1800 square feet. Best of all, the mortgage payments will be less than either one of us pays for rent right now--on a 15 year mortgage. ^_ ( Read more... )

This weekend I took part in the cantata held by Holy Cross Catholic Church and the Lutheran Church of the Cross. We're located on the same campus, and share our common spaces. I've spent the last couple weeks fighting off pneumonia. I know this because I woke up last Monday morning coughing so hard I had blood in my mucus.
