Danny as the healer - brilliant! Steve was very possive - even better! And the team coming together to try to get Danny to borrow energy or whatever it is from them so that he could heal himself - WOW!
I loved reading about Danny's backstory and how he came to get this gift.
I so loved Steve's interactions with Grace and him promising her that he would bring her Danno back. Wow and poor Grace for thinking that Danny was taken because she wanted him to heal the girl from the crash :( It wasn't her fault and I know that Danny would do it all over again just for Grace.
Loved the adventures & working it out with the team and the so not-hopeful reunion between Steve and Danny! That's so them!!
I was so into the story that I was sad to see it ending...but with that ending, I'm hoping there will be a little sequel?
Thank you so much for the wonderful feedback! Glad I got the characters right!
I'm sorry to say that while I had a great time writing this fic I do not currently intend to write a sequel. I left the ending open for continuation both because I'm a cruel person and because I enjoy speculation. There can never be an easy, clean ending to a story like this :)
I am thrilled you enjoyed it though! Your comments were wonderfully detailed!
Wow! This was truly amazing! I've spent a good deal of my day reading this. I couldn't stop, and now it's going on 2:30 am. Totally worth it though. I really did love this. I'm kinda sad that it's over.
I'm getting tired just thinking about staying up that late to read right now ;) I am very, very happy you enjoyed it that much! Thank you for the great review.
Wow. It took me most of a lonely weekend to read your story, and what a good weekend it's been thanks to you! Your writing is incredible, it felt like I was watching a movie, or even being right there in the action. I only stopped reading to rest my eyes! It's funny, it's gripping, your characterization, plot and dialogues are awesome, it's fast paced, well, it's really a fantastic story! Congratulations, and thank you for sharing!
This is epic. I loved it. I was a bit dubious when I saw the superpower tag but once I started reading about Danny's healing ability I found it to be very believable. It reminded me of the movie "Firestarter" from the 1980s.
LOL, I understand being weary about trying out the superhero fics as well, but I enjoy them too much to ever pass up ;) I'm glad you gave mine a try and really glad it came across as believable (I have an issue with not making the effort to give things at least a semi-believanle plot). It makes me proud :D
I have no plans on a sequel, I think I've expended my interest in writing this particular 'verse, but it was fun while it lasted!
