Hey, So I'm trying a different way of dealing with issue, but I'm finding it IMPOSSIBLE to access an instance from wtihin a movieclip. I can access it if its just a movieclip on the stage, but if it's nested in another one I can't get it to work using dot notation. Anyone out there know how to obtain an developer's kit for Flash 8? I've got a friend who tells me he can code extensions and commands, but we need a developer's kit or some sort of resource.

Any ideas? I know its possible.

What have I been doing? Setting up and working at the studio.

Today I took a holiday. It was really awesome. Dave and I had a dance off (battle) with canes to a salsa version of smooth operator. I won and it was fantastic (only cause dave dropped the cane). Yay.
