For anyone who was knowing or concerned, Palm is doing quite well. Tuesday night was rough for us. Last night was better. Tonight has also been somewhat complicated, but nothing of major dilemma.
He is acting more like himself, aside from the outbursts, cravings and the waves of being overheated. It seems to arrive in stages.

Over the past few days, I have had the pleasure of witnessing several miracles. I feel honored to have done so, and to even be a minor part in one of them. I hope to see even more in the future.

Things are looking promising.

Palm is himself, once again. Everything seems to be stable. The effects lasted for a full day, fading only after he returned to us, early this morning. I will continue to work with the mixture at another time to see if I can extend it, but for now, I will see how this works. Taking the potion on a daily basis might seem ( Read more... )

It...has been a long time since I have seen Palm smile so much. When he came back to us later this afternoon, he was practically beaming. He told me stories of dancing and music and that he'd played a small tune on a mandolin. My cousin's eyes sparkled in a way that they haven't in years.
