It's funny how happy these things can make you:

1. Washing up
2. Having someone else phone up NTL instead of me
3. Having non-broken internet
4. Eating bread and damson jam
5. Messing around making pictures

The 'Little Britain' catchphrase mania at school continues apace. I collared three year 10 girls of the dim type yesterday lunchtime and they were actually saying 'Yeah but, no but' as I ushered them down the stairs. With no apparent sense of irony. Aargh.

Tuesday: Had squash thrown at me.
Wednesday: Was told I was a 'silly cow'.
Friday: Had three large chunks of chocolate (mint aero) thrown at me. Two pieces found their target.

I must look like target practice or something...

p.s. All offenders were dealt with severely :)

Ok, ok, it's a day late, but now I'm getting drunk. I realise that the rest of the western world is currently forswearing alcohol and indeed, feeling sickened by the very mention of the substance, but getting drunk seems to be a fairly good pastime at the moment ( Read more... )

My granny is moving to a retirement flat in Penarth on the 13th of December. This had made me feel rather melancholy as I will never have a real reason to visit Pentyrch again. I know her house is ludicrously large for her, and it didn't contain entirely happy memories, but it's the only house I've ever known her live in. I'll miss her beautiful ( Read more... )
