Ah, cool. I am looking forward to seeing who my Beamish Boy turns into. I'm already impressed, and suspect I will only get moreso. And now it seems that I'll have the chance to raise another good lad!

16 already. Wow. Time flies. Here's a link to a recent post where I posted my two diabolical offspring: http://helios137.livejournal.com/177252.html
Here's my advice with the socratic method. If administered correctly by an instructor then there is no correct response that you can give. Each question and answer continues a flow of thoughts. The instructor knows (or should know) where that flow will lead. And the purpose of teaching with this method is for the students to understand and appreciate that flow and where it takes the class. So the trick is to try to anticipate where you think the instructor will be taking the class with this long train of thought. If you get real good at it, then you can even head the instructor off at the pass.

Exactly what I as thinking. I appreciate the process of course but isn't it more fun to be there ahead of the train?

The answer to that question is always yes in my book.

It is astonishing to see just how much he knows even at the tender age of sixteen.

Eh? Wasn't he 6 last week?

Benway! Long time no type. I have missed your words.

He was 6 last week. Amazing but true. That's the way it goes with time lords I suppose. I won't worry until he tells me about the beating of drums.
