Sounds like a great idea to me. I was told that the onboard staff of Alitalia, Italy's airline, have to have a military background. That's why they score a zero when it comes to customer service. They are allegedly very capable of dealing with potential hijackers. However, I haven't been able to find any internet websites that confirm what I was told. Perhaps its not an asset that the airline wishes to broadcast.

That's so funny! Do you have a personal anecdote about terrible customer service?

Nothing very exciting. The onboard crews are just arrogant and unfriendly. They protray an image of really meaning business. As InquisitiveLove puts it: they don't put up with any bullshit. It is such a stark contrast to the friendly and easy going Italians that I have seen in Northern and Central Italy.
