I am so glad I have gotten to know you on Tumblr and LJ these past couple of years. I admire you for making what I'm sure was a tough move, and I'm really really glad that you've found a support community there in the form of the Great Lakes Pawnee Goddesses. I always look forward to your post-Parks thoughts.

You are such an interesting person! You know so much about music and movies and fashion and England and random Brits and I enjoy getting to be on the receiving end of all that knowledge. You're a great addition to our Chicago family, and Bride of Emily, Dog of Emily and I just love having you around. You are an awesome lady and I'm glad I know you. You always seem to handle tough situations (moving to Fresno, crazy sister, Little League, robotics) with a lot of grace and I really admire that. And I love that we lived in the same area a long time ago; sometime you'll have to sneak out here for a few days and we'll do a Nostalgia Tour. :)

Your kid stories are so much fun--I'm not that big on children at this stage in my life, but you make it seem so rewarding and fun and worthwhile, even with the frustrations.
