Today my baby girl is 8. She is officially a tween and I found that to be very true in trying to find her a present. She will like anything we get her since that is just her middle-child personality.  My 5 year old ran up to me and said, "Mom you have to see this!" He pulled his shirt up and flexed his abs. My son has a little six pack. Evidently he was checking it out in the mirror before he showed me.

A little on the vain side, but I don't think he meant it to be that way.

 Today was all over the place. It started out at 12:07 AM when my alarm went off. I didn't set it for that time, but I forgot to reset it when the electricity went off the previous night and I had the alarm turned on.  Okay, I know I have been out of the technology loop since I have been out of school, but when did the terabyte memory card hard drive become available?!?!?

 Hubby really likes the telescope! The one store that had any was very reasonably priced. It is cool enough to keep our interest for awhile without paying gads of cash. It is motorized, has a remote, and can be hooked up to the laptop (something I didn't know when I bought it). You can program it to your location and it will give you a tour of your ( Read more... )

Everything is over and went swimmingly. Thank you for everyones prayers! The only complication is my usual complication. They had a tough time getting the IV in. I asked the nurse how competent she is with IVs and then told her that it will be difficult and I was right.
