My handwriting had become pretty attrocious. It was never really awesome, but after many years of very nearly all of my communication via written word being typed, it had gotten to the point where it was downright embarassing to have to write anything that another human had to read. Nothing so esoteric. Ive been playing minecraft and working on building new solid oak bookshelves. I really ought to finishe those fast so i can get on some house repairs: this winter blew apart part of the roof over the hot tub, which means ladder work, and the parts that remain are banging in the wind at night. Also the driveway really needs some attention to before it gets even more deteriorated. And... Damn, I forgot what I was going to say... Theres lots to do, but minecraft keeps calling. :-)

Ooh, oak bookshelves. That's pretty neat. And I've never really gotten into Minecraft, but I've been impressed a number of times at the utterly gonzo things people have built in it.

Sorry about the home repairs; especially the ones requiring a ladder. I've discovered that, among the things I find very unpleasant, being high up on an angled surface is one of them.

G4 keeps complaining when he gets the mail that there is nothing for him. Since he can't write - I've been ignoring it - but maybe I need to get the guy a pen pal.

And I can't help picturing 'minesweeper' whenever someone says they're playing minecraft. ;)

I just bought myself some mechanical pencils which are not in the same league as fountain pens and vermillion ink but still pretty satisfying.
