Today's experiments suggest that dish detergent may be nearly as effective for removing oil paints as ArtGel is.... More research is needed. I was trying to pick colors for my first painting today. Tulips. I'm a little worried that I'm trying to work with too many colors at once. I probably just need to stop worrying and just do it. Considering that I'm going home for the weekend, I'll probably get started next week. I'm trying to do more art-stuff so I have a portfolio to submit with my LArch apps.

"Thank goodness" why? Because it's tulips? Because I'm going to stop worrying about it (and therefore will be less likely to keep talking about it)? Or because we will be home this weekend?
