I'm finally getting around to switching over the the central AC unit. This involves disconnecting the old unit and putting in a new disconnect box. I've had the box sitting there for weeks but never wanted to loose the old AC for the time it may take to get the new one on line. Today is as good as anytime ( Read more... )

Only 2 bills over a hundred?? Lucky you. I am hoping that neither heat or cool is needed for a bit to get some savings going. But if it gets too cool I will have to get a fur suit for my bird or turn on the heat.

my last 3 FPL bills were $270, $270, $242. I'd KILL to have an electric bill of only $100!

I'm really glad that I waited to do this cause I still havent got the new AC working right. Love this fall weather.

The AC is working. YeHaw. I got a t-stat and hooked it up and I've been walking around cranking it up and shutting it down. I haven't mounted it to a wall cause I think I'll just use it as a wired remote with a 25 foot wire. God I love this teknowlogy stuff. Didn't cost too much and I can forget about reconnecting the old wall banger AC.
