Now that the holiday is done, I find that the turkey is still in the largely uneaten stage. I've been getting into sustainable lifestyles lately so the correct thing to do is to save the meat and make various freezable turkey dishes. I thought I was done with all the weird kitchen gadgets cause I sold or gave away most of the counter top space-hogs that were never used. Today I bought a bread making machine. I'm finally getting around to switching over the the central AC unit. This involves disconnecting the old unit and putting in a new disconnect box. I've had the box sitting there for weeks but never wanted to loose the old AC for the time it may take to get the new one on line. Today is as good as anytime ( Read more... )

Ok, it's a factory package unit that I bought second hand. The one small problem is that my house is old and has always had a large window unit that I installed through a wall and set on stacks of concrete block for support on the outside of the house.
