We never really met, only passed by a few times at RCFM or FWA. But, you made some of my friends very happy by knowing them. And I will forever be thankful for that.

Look down upon us, and smile when we make you happy. Because you made so many of us happy. We need to return the love and friendship that you showed to your family.

Thurber was one of my close friends. I easily called him once a week just to chat and keep up with him. He was one of the coolest older people I knew. Older then me. When I get to be his age

Thurber, at FWA '06, you was right in front of me in the Fursuit Performance Panel, and I didn't know you then, but now it's too late to say hello, but I will still consider you my friend at heart. I hope you're in a better place, and please, if you're able to roam the real world in spirit form, please come visit. I'd like to meet you

I had managed to snag him a Luskwood Avatar certificate so that he could head onto Second Life. He was really looking forward to that.

I hadn't really gotten to know him until this year at RCFM. We got the chance to finally connect long enough to chat. I found out that he was an engineer who did fire sprinkler systems and that he used AutoCAD. Being an Architect who uses AutoCAD, we had a common base to talk about.

I am glad to have had the, albeit brief, time to get to know him.

Goodbye my friend, you will be missed.
