Something about me. I'm hopelessly addicted to watching home improvement shows on TV. I'm not a crafty person, but I love looking at what other people do to their homes and gardens. The most I do in my own house is paint, and it takes me forever. I'm way too much of a perfectionist.
Other than home improvement shows, the only non-anime TV programs I watch are Doctor Who, Torchwood, The Tudors and EastEnders, a British soap opera that is shown on my local public TV station. It's ironic, given that I used to watch TV all the time. I guess I can only be obsessive about one thing at a time. ^_^
*laugh* I wouldn't have pinned you for a perfectionist, but I can see how that works. ^^ And it still amazes me how many people you've touched with all your contacts in so many fandoms! ^^
*laugh* Indeed, folk speak quite highly of you! (And isn't it horribly embarrassing when someone who's the next thing to a perfect stranger tells you such things? ^_~)
People like you and aishuu really, really make me wish I could get into reading Seigaku, honest. Though I did like your original story very much (despite having been a dork and not having gotten around to commenting on it. ^^;)
I'm Canadian and I like peanut butter on my oreos! ♥ I like to write original fiction rather than fan fiction because I'm terrified that I won't get the characterization of the characters right! xD I am the proud human of my kitten Babble and pamper him as much as possible; he's a spoiled little princeling!
And... umm, I like everything Prince of Tennis related but I think you knew that already! ^__~
*chuckle* It's an interesting thing--I write original fiction as well as fanfiction, too, and you're right--good Lord, putting that first fanfic out online (more than a decade ago, now!) was one of the most terrifying experiences of my life! I'm used to the terror, now, though... but I still feel it every single time I post. ^^
And cats are all spoiled little princelings... all I have to do is walk near my Tam Lin, and he keels over onto his back and stares at me until I rub his belly. Which I invariably do. ^^;
*giggle* PoT does do an astounding job of going SLUUURP and sucking one in, doesn't it? ^_~
*thinks* You know, he's probably the closest to me in personality type on Hyotei. Pure Slytherin and loving it. ^.~
I would have kicked her for that, by the way. It's good to know you have a good, realistic image of yourself. Though for some reason I'd mentally pictured you as tinier than that. ^_~ I'm still taller, though.
And you know I'm going to keep cheering you on your path of HiyoMari doom.
Oh, my... somewhere, somehow, some PoT writer is going to wake up with this irresistible urge to write a fic where the PoT boys are discussing what House they'd all be in if they were in Hogwarts... I hope that whoever she is, she posts it. Soon.
Trust me, the thought of kicking her in the head definitely occurred to me... but by then my mom was already standing on my foot. I think she knows me better than I imagine, sometimes. >.< I wish I could claim perfectly realistic body image--like most girls, I always wish I could be just a bit thinner. *rolls eyes at self* But I know that my waist isn't any bigger than many of my aunties'--I just happen to have breasts and hips and a butt and thighs, courtesy of the genes of the other half of my family. *shrug
