Ok, so the ticker in my profile informs me that it's one month, one week, and one day until graduation *gulp*. My thesis is coming along. I presented my research twice last week in two different fora, and it went well both times. So, I decided that I should take a weekend off of writing and just focused on grading and relaxing, which was nice. ( Read more... )

So, later on today I will be flying to VT for a few days. After all my many unpleasant airline experiences of the past couple years, I am sooo nervous. I've never been afraid of flying in terms of the plane going down or anything like that, but my fear of getting screwed just keep getting worse. Seriously. I feel nauseated.

My head hurts... again. I'm starting to feel rather swamped, which isn't all that unusual, but I'm also starting to feel the end of degree program-type stress. I f*cking hate flying.

My first flight today was delayed by 3 1/2 hours, so I got up around 5:30 for a 12:30 departure. Fabulous. Fortunately, my connection was delayed, too, so I didn't have to book a new flight. Things seeemed to be looking up, when....
