I work at a summer camp.

It will be extraordinarly difficult to provide even a decent summarization of my life in the past two months. Every second away is filled with stories, morals and punch lines but they becoming increasingly difficult to remember the more I try to think of them. Essentially I can say that since June my life has been a whirlwind of every emotion. Be ( Read more... )

it soundas like a worth while summer, better than those spent on a couch waiting for september to begin.

"I have found that I deeply connect to very few people in the world - and when found they prove near impossible to hold on to."

i completely know what you mean by that, i infact had an entire conversation with a friend of mine about it. it seems as though when you connect with someone there is always a major inconvinience that soon follows and then they are gone.

Good Luck at school!

i agree completely with points you made. it sounds like you've had a fulfilling summer, best and worst part included. also, i just like reading what you had to say. there are few people that can vocalize experiences and lessons learned, let alone, few people who even take the time to examine their lives and find meaning in every occurance. i hope the remainer of your summer is wonderful and you have a good time at school :-)

p.s. i love this.
"I have fallen in love in a night and fallen out and in and out and in again. I still have yet to be emotionally satisfied. I have found that I deeply connect to very few people in the world - and when found they prove near impossible to hold on to. Hold on to them. As cliche as it sounds I can't imagine anyone expecting to lead a fufilling or rewarding life without someone to share yourself with. Again, forgive the romance."

Most of this made me smile, just because I know what you're talking about. Especially the Swiss Chef comment. Lol. I wish I knew more about what was going on with you here. If some girl on staff is breaking your heart I wanna know about it. Not only because I'll go after her (j/k) but because I'd like to think I can be there for you. But if you don't feel comfy talking about it thats fine with me. I hope I fall into the one of the more positive categories of people you mentioned here. You have always been and will always be one of my favorite people here at camp and I will always love you for that. I'm sure you get this all the time but you have a true talent for expressing yourself through writing. Even if you don't go on to do it as a living you should keep it up in one way or another. Ok I'm done. I'll be sure to give you a hug next time I see you. Love you lil' bro!
