He stood in the doorway and stared at Shito's back as he was hunched over the computer. Spike looked around the room and smirked. "All the comforts of home," he said.

He jumped to his feet. "What the hell do you think you're doing here?" he demanded, incensed.
He was also a bit nervous, though he took pains to hide it. He couldn't actually defend himself without Akatsuki, and the vampire was between him and the idiot.

His eyes dropped to the bottle in Spike's hand, and then looked up at his face. Was he really here to give him a drink.
That would be a bad idea. Shito had such low tolerance for alcohol.

He stopped drumming and frowned down at his hand. It had felt kind of like someone had tugged at the metaphysical handcuff that circled his wrist. It wasn't like the damned things were solid, they couldn't get snagged on objects and tugged by accident. Chika hadn't felt anything like it in the weeks he and Shito had been stuck together. What was the asshole up to over there?
He stuck his head out his door, just in time to hear Shito slam his door and see a blond stranger turn the corner, heading for the exit. "What the fuck?" he muttered, and crossed the hall to pound on Shito's door.

"What are you banging on my door for?" he demanded. He was glad to see that there was no sign of Spike.
He forgot momentarily that there was still blood on his neck, which would be easily visible to Akatsuki over the collar of his T-shirt.

He reached out without thinking, intending to touch the wound and see how bad it was, not to mention how recent. With the darker colour of a zombie's blood, it was hard to tell if the liquid had dried or not.

He hesitated. "You didn't see a blond man lurking around in the building, did you?" His worry was that Spike might have gone after Koyomi, though he hoped he would not.
