Oh, no, no, it was accepted, and it's been beta'd, she just pointed out some things that really are wrong with it, canon-wise (I don't really know canon all that well) and it may take some work to get it to where they'd like to see it. The beta they gave me was very nice about it, though.

I have no idea how I found this story but I'm glad I did. It was such a tender look at what might have happened after DH. It was really spot on and kind of highlights what I like most about Ron and Hermione. Noticing your tag...I hope this is not your one and only attempt at hp :)

Oh wow, thank you! That's really sweet of you to say and I'm glad you enjoyed it. I'm sorry to tell you that while I do occasionally write some drabbles at rhr100, but I don't really plan on writing any other actual HP fic. I'm actually giving up fic entirely other than special occasions like the healingstories challenge that's posted on my page, as I'm working on Original stuff, and fanfic is a slippery slope to fall back on when you're trying to do the other. haha Thank you very much for your compliment, though!

Ha! I can relate. Fic is a fun and fuzzy distraction to writing original stuff, and it's very slippery because it would be so easy to just play with some one else's characters...and who doesn't love the instant gratification of getting comments! The real work of writing is long and tedious and the pay off seems so distant...anyway, best of luck with whatever writing you are doing these days :)
