You'll be afraid anonymous August 13 2004, 01:18:41 UTC
When you get to the airport, you'll be really scared of white people.
I remember coming back from a year over there, and I was absolutely terrified at these loud, tall, light haired people that completely filled the airport.
I ran for the safety of the nearest Japanese tour group....

Good luck with readjusting, and write your friends, cuz you'll lose touch with em a lot faster than you'd think

Hope you don't get stuck between the crying baby and the fat guy on the plane...

haaa what the hell. when i came back from asia, i wasnt afraid of white people.. i flew into LA, walked into the airport, & actually laid down and kissed the ground. i was just so happy to hear english & not be looked at funny because i was blonde. it was just euphoric.

I haven't added you yet (I'll eventually get to it), but I came across your journal right before you left to Japan and have been reading it since. I'm not quite sure how badly you do miss home, but I can understand the anxiety you're feeling of having to leave.

Either way I'm sure you'll handle it well and stuff. I hope you have a safe flight back :)
