Not dead
Just busy with school and such.
Also still writing on the thingy that some people are in the special group to see, but I'm trying to finish the entire chapter before I post it. It's up to 4800 words or so as of posting this, with plenty left to go.

So yeah.. writing assignment for my literature class. Not an essay (though that's coming soon,) no; a short story that is supposed to (at least attempt) to imitate Hemingway. Did I succeed? NOPE. But whatever ( Read more... ) -

One week down
First week of school is done. My schedule is kinda weird, it'll take a bit to get used to.
Not much else to say really; just a lot of running around and typical start of school stuff. -
Orientation Weekend
So it's orientation weekend + monday for Gonzaga, so not a lot of writing or anything else getting done. I was going to skip out on all of it (instead of most) but I actually like the little group I got put in with - they're all transfer students (with our group leaders being juniors/seniors) - so it's nice to get to know a few people considering I ( Read more... ) -
"Starting out"
Is horribly damn expensive. I.. don't want to think about how much I've spend in the last two days. Furniture, TV, kitchen hardware, food, a new bed. Fuck, fuck fuck fuuuuuuuck.
I know this why I have as much in savings as I do, but it's still stressing the hell out of me. -
Blah
So much for getting a decent writing habit built up quickly. Only managed a 175 words today - which is better than the 0 I got yesterday. Well, 0 words on narrative, plenty of dinking on notework and junk.
Ah well. -
Mission accomplished-ish
I got my self a place to live in Spokane, yay. I could recount the nightmare of getting a bleeding money order with a debit card and not having a local bank -- but that was the only hitch. Everything else was smooth ( Read more... )
