Just wondering if it seem a bit too compact, too neatly wrapped together and such. I suppose the interesting parts would be in the finer details - which would probably call for its own novel or something. Contains almost everything you could want know about one of my fictional countries.

Humans aren't the only sapient critters in my world. One of them is close enough to human that you can't tell the difference unless you look closely (they happen to be shapeshifters) and they're becoming more common in human cities and populations - though they traditionally live in wilderness (I don't know why this shift is happening, yet) and ( Read more... )

Joy for block of mostly pointless exposition. (Can I get confetti?) Anyway sort of more 'sketching my world' type stuff. The only really important thing I think is the last part -- it constitutes probably one the strongest investments of myself into Mirra's character.
