Since several of you have commented or asked questions about the Applebee's thing I figured I would copy the post that I made in breastfeeding

I would definatly write them. Maybe say that it disturbed you that you were asked not to breastfeed in the resturant. Who cares if it really didn't but I would have been.

Just say what you said here, that you asked to be considerate and was told that you couldn't and that looking up the law that it says otherwise.

Maybe you would atleast you could get a free meal out of it.

Even with a knoweldge of the law he might of said the same thing. The thing is, is if you were breastfeeding discretly I don't think they would've come up to you and told you not to do it ( ... )

Maybe they thought you were planning to whip out a boob or something, instead of doing it discreetly, and were bothered by that? *shrugs*

But yeah, definitely write a letter...it can't hurt, and will maybe help.

The Apleebee's corporate office is a local company here in KC. I actually have a parent in my classroom who is a corporate employee. I can ask her who you need to contact.
