Sounds like a bit of grass-is-greener, but... why'd you head over here in the first place, if I may ask? (Because maybe a lot of people know - but I don't.) Did you accomplish what you set out to do? Have thing changed enough that you are really willing to give up on that and set some new goals?
Oddly enough, I'm at the start of 10 days "back home" right now myself (back home being my parents' house in rural Manitoba) - and as soon as I got here I was immediately bored to tears... which is sort of alarming, because the last three years or so I've been working towards moving out to rural Ontario. However, I realize that "visiting" is a whole different ballgame than actually moving permanently and "living" somewhere... when I finally move out to the country, I will definitely not have time to be bored. :)
Anyways, just thoughts from a relative stranger... who is totally bored and is shamelessly exploiting a mercifully-offered internet connection. :)
