I got $1000 worth of ikea bestå so I can put toku figures up, and I gotta tell you, having a wall to wall, floor to ceiling shelving unit held together with just a couple of screws and some double sided tape is totally safe and I do not feel worried that one day the entire 600lb thing will come crashing down on me. Please send help, the last 3 weeks have been absolute hell. I got a free island getaway package from one of those radio contests, you know, the ones that no one ever wins? Yeah, well, I won. I think every 3-5 years is a good time to post on livejournal and remember that it was once a thriving corner of the internet, and not just full of bots.

I can't tell what year it is.

I really think that Livejournal died in 2005, but I see that some people are still using it. Why are these people still using it?

Also there are like 50 people that I've totally lost track of that I wish I could find again on the internet. Some of them probably still even live somewhat near me, but most are lost

Too bad I will probably never speak to any of you again, and in fact it has been so long since any of my friends have posted that the friends feed doesn't even work. So sad. I wonder what ever happened to all of you, what your lives have become.

I wonder how many people I was friends with on here that I've just completely lost touch with because the internet has moved on past livejournal. I wonder if it would ever be possible to get in touch with some of those people ever again. I wonder how many of them are no longer living, no longer free to walk the streets.
