violet_shade, I think I channeled you a bit last night, and in doing so have gained a new appreciation for coming into a game, taking up the role of a deliciously evil NPC, and messing with the players' heads. Bonus points for which PC was the focus of my "special attentions" (I even gave the DM an idea for a delightfully evil subplot!).

Okay, I don't know wtf is wrong with my computer. I've run viruscan, and Adaware, I've restarted recently, and STILL it refuses to work in a manner even remotely resembling the way it ought to. The annoying thing about winter...
...is that is messes with my sense of time. And my sense of time isn't that spectacular to begin with. It's dark outside, and somewhere in my brain is the understanding that dark = late. I just glanced up at the window, and thought, "Gee, it must be around 9 or so." Nope. 6:15. I think I made dinner around 4pm today--because it felt late enough ( Read more... ) -

Driving Rant
I hate driving during the day. People are idiots, and there are more of them when the sun is out.
I know, it's Black Friday weekend, and everybody's out and in a hurry. But there's one guy out there right now who is VERY lucky that I don't have the power to set people on fire with my mind.

...buying our first energy-saving fluorescent light bulbs today, and then seeing a commercial for the evening news wherein they do a story about a family getting mercury poisoning from a broken fluorescent bulb.
