I got a message from a friend who I worked with back home just now telling me that one of my year 11 students passed away yesterday. He and his family were on holidays in Victoria last week when the minibus they were in crashed on the Great Ocean Road. Another woman died on the scene whilst the boy was in a coma; they turned off life support

That's so awful. I saw that story on the news, but hadn't heard the boy didn't make it. x
