I love this story because it's dealing with a very real illness and how it affects not only the victim but those around him. Poor Dean, it's heartbreaking to see his own mind turn against him and his only salvation being that of trial and error meds. I used to have a co-worker with another type of mental illness and remember how her meds made her personality different and could understand why so many people fight against taking them.

I am so interested to see where this story goes.

is much appreciated. my friend with schizophrenia (who was the inspiration for this plot bunny) is not so much a friend right now because of a new medication he's on. it's also not working at all seeing how he's been hospitalized twice in the past month. the one he was on before made him depressed and suicidal and he said he'd never take it again despite the fact that it worked on his schizophrenia symptoms. sad times.

I'm working on part 3. :D

i was a little wary of this being triggery to me 'cause my brother is schizo, but none the less i love disabled fics XDD and i'm really liking this one. weary doctor cas is fun. and sweety tryingsohard dean is sadsweet ;n; and even though gabriel has a small part so far, i like it XD cloying and none caring of cas' indifference lol
