There was an abundance of fog this morning. Not just the hazy kind. This was the scary-movie-little-girl-will-walk-out-of-the-mist fog. You couldn't see anything past ten feet. It was beautiful. I'm sitting in journalism class surrounded by either future journalists or slackers just interested in receiving a solid A and an extra English credit. The thing is though, the class average is around a C, meaning that future journalists are getting all the A's and, no surprise, the slackers are getting all C's and below. I sit and observe the albino spider scurry across my cream colored wall. Up, down all around he crawls in spiraling circles. If only his feet had been dipped in colorful paint, what a lovely design he would create on my dull, bare slab of plaster. I'm so overwelmed right now. I just wish I had a time machine and could jump back to 1964. I would have to say those were the years to live. The aftermath of World War II, beginning of Vietnam, race riots, peace rallies, Civil Rights Movement. It must have been incredible to grow up in that time.
