Oh dear finally a question that is hard to answer. I have to think, because normally I just let things flow out, but you ask me a specific question which deserves some kind of reflection. Okay. First... I want people just to read it, even before getting anything but a stream of words like the stream of consciousness I was chasing when I wrote it. This was not planned. I simply turned on the fingers at this keyboard and wrote it. Of course, there were some ideas moving, half conscious, half not, especially the theme of "real estate" which has played a role in my life all my life, but always like a background role, not up front and dominant, but always there, environmental. I want people to feel the environment of the words and the real estate of their lingual streets and grammar neighborhoods, their spellings and mis-spellings being forced into something that sounds like something else, yes, I did think of that most deliberately as I was writing the first draft (which was only slightly changed before submitting it ASAP) so there was
